Global release parties for “The Boys of Dungeon Lane”

Last updated on May 24, 2026

In the week leading up to the release of Paul McCartney’s “The Boys of Dungeon Lane,” a series of listening events were held across multiple countries, including the United States, Brazil, Australia, and several European nations. The events took place in record shops and Universal Music offices, and attendees received goodies including tote bags and postcards. Several of the participating stores also sold an exclusive silver vinyl edition of the album.

The first of these sessions was hosted on May 22 at the Jacaranda Club in Liverpool — the venue where The Beatles had performed in the early 1960s. Further events followed at various dates until the album’s release on May 29. Some of the participating stores also sold an exclusive Silver-coloured LP of the album.

From ‘The Boys of Dungeon Lane’ — Global Parties 🐦‍⬛ : r/PaulMcCartney, May 20, 2026:

Hey everyone,

We’ve got release parties happening for The Boys of Dungeon Lane across US, Canada, the UK, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Brazil and more. For some locations it’s a chance to hear the album before it’s officially released, and all of them will include some free promo bits at participating stores.

If your local record shop is taking part, we’d love to see what you get up to – please share your photos, videos and any content from the day. It’d be great to see how everyone’s experiencing the album around the world and to get a glimpse of how it’s bringing you all together.

And if your nearest store isn’t hosting one, no worries at all — you can absolutely join in from home. Put the record on when it arrives, create your own listening moment, and share that with us too. We have some digital goodies to help make your DIY listening party extra special, but more on that soon.

We’d really love to see as much of your content as possible.

Enjoy,

MPL
