I was lucky enough to be in the audience on 23 February 1963, I recall they sang, a Taste of Honey. Love Love me do and Please Please me. Interestingly, my mother had bumped into them during the day when they left their tour bus going straight into the Fish and Chip Shop which was by the side of the Granada Cinema. Helen Shapiro I recall was suffering from a sore throat during that evening performance.

Just from that one performance, you could see the Beatles were destined for great success they were so different and good in their burgundy stage suits.
