At the time of the concert at the ABC Cinema Wigan on the 13 Oct 1964 I was a member of the Congregational Church Youth Club of Newton-Le-Willows, Lancashire and we used listen and dance to their records all the time. I was at the time an apprentice working for a Wigan company and my Boss knew the Manager of the Cinema very well and got me two free 2nd row tickets, he knowing I was a big fan of The Beatles. I gave one ticket to my girl friend Elain Ashworth and one to our friend Linda Morse. They were over the moon and could not believe their luck. They said the cue for the show was round the block but it was well worth the wait and the performances were fantastic.
