Barry Lategan photographed Paul McCartney in July 1968 for a feature on men’s fashion that appeared in The Observer in March 1969. A few years later, in 1971, Lategan would once again step behind the lens for Paul — this time capturing the cover photo for Wings’ debut album, “Wild Life.”
