“You’re Going to Lose That Girl” was recorded on February 19, 1965, and mixed in mono on February 20, and in stereo on February 23. However, George Martin considered the recording could be improved, and further overdubs were added on March 30.
On this day, April 2, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., the final mono and stereo mixes were made, from Take 3. The mono mix was unnumbered, and the stereo mix was labelled Remix Stereo 3.
