Bonding” is a track credited to John Lennon and Paul McCartney.

On January 14, 1969, during the Beatles’ “Get Back” sessions, Paul McCartney was at the piano, talking to clapper and loader Paul Bond, when he played a few seconds of this theme, while explaining the beauty of chord patterns:

And, like, lot of old tunes had just set chord patterns. ‘Cause that’s the great thing. Once you start trying to find out chord patterns, you really suss what people are doing, what musicians are doing. And they really, it’s… You know, it’s like… [playing “Bonding”] Like, old tunes, you know, they had just a certain way of going. And they hardly ever varied from that. I don’t really know it, you know? My dad knows that better.
