“Road” is a track from the 2013 album “NEW“, co-written by Paul McCartney and producer Paul Epworth, one of the four producers of the album.

I guess with that one we were aiming for something that was a little more esoteric and musically complex than the others I’d worked on. It’s like a journey. That actually started out with me on drums and him on Moog and it sounded like something by The Fall or Can.

Hello. I was looking at the running time of this song on streaming services. The standard edition states that the song is 7 minutes and 39 seconds long however, the deluxe edition states that the song is 4 minutes and 36 seconds. Could the standard edition have a hidden track in it?

Hi, sorry for the late answer. "Scared" is the hidden track added to "Road".
