Taurus The Bull” is a song written by Keith Drewett and Peter Dymond, of the duo Drew And Dy.

The two of them met with Paul McCartney in May 1968 when, while in a taxi, they spot him standing outside of the Apple Boutique. They jumped out of the cab and ran up to Paul and asked him to listen to their music. Paul invited them to the empty boutique and they played him six of their songs.

On August 12, 1968, Drew And Dy and Paul McCartney were at Trident Studios, to record three of those songs (including “Taurus The Bull“). Paul McCartney produced those songs, played the piano, and sang harmonies.

Those songs were released in 2021 on the compilation Good As Gold (Artefacts Of The Apple Era 1967-1975).
