At the 9th Ivor Novello Awards, The Beatles received fours awards, including “The Most Broadcast Work of the Year” for “She Loves You” and “The ‘A’ Side of the Record Issued in 1963 Which Achieved the Highest Certified British Sales” for the same track (they were also nominated with “I Want To Hold Your Hand” for this award). They also won “The Year’s Outstanding Song” awards for “All My Loving.”
Additionally, they were honoured with the “Special Award for Outstanding Services to British Music,” alongside their manager Brian Epstein and producer George Martin.
