In January 2021, it was announced that Mary McCartney was directing a documentary about Abbey Road Studios. In September 2022, the documentary premiered at Telluride Film Festival and it was announced it would be distributed by Disney Original Documentary.
On this day, December 12, 2022, a launch party was organized at Abbey Road Studios. Among the invitees were Mary McCartney, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr.
On December 16, 2022, “If These Walls Could Sing” was released on the Disney+ streaming service in the US. It was released in the UK on January 6, 2023.

The Disney original documentary explores the breadth, diversity and ingenuity of the studios across our nine decades.
The interviews offer insight into how artists, producers, composers, engineers and staff of Abbey Road all found their musical language and community, while vivid archive footage and session tapes give an exclusive look behind the curtain of Abbey Road.
