About
Our days off were sacred. If you look at our 1964 timetable you can see why. I didn’t realise until recently that we used to have a whole year of work, and then get something like 23rd November off – and then have to judge a beauty competition that day. So, by the time we got to Kansas City, we probably needed a day off. I can’t actually remember falling out with Brian about him wanting us to work on a day off, we’d talk to each other rather than fall out.

Thanks Mark !!!
If you look at the film of the show, it looks like they start with Twist and Shout as usual.
So does anyone know when they did Kansas City?
Did it replace Long tall Sally?
Any one know?
Hi David, indeed you're right - the setlist is currently wrong, as "Twist And Shout" has been played.
Mark Lewisohn in his book says "Kansas City" has been added, but it is not precise where.
The Beatles Bible website says: "The Beatles added their version of the Kansas City/Hey-Hey-Hey-Hey! medley to the setlist, which included 12 other songs: Twist And Shout, You Can't Do That, All My Loving, She Loves You, Things We Said Today, Roll Over Beethoven, Can't Buy Me Love, If I Fell, I Want To Hold Your Hand, Boys, A Hard Day's Night and Long Tall Sally." ; again without mentioning where "Kansas City" has been placed...
So for now, it remains a mystery to me.
