Some of the songs worked on during this session were first released on the "The Beatles (Mono)" LP.

Some of the songs from this session also appear on:

On this day, from 5 pm to 3 am, The Beatles completed “Everybody’s Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey“. John Lennon recorded a new lead vocal on Take 10, replacing the vocal recorded on July 1.

As usual, John was wanting his voice to sound different. He would say, ‘I want to sound like somebody from the moon’ or anything different. ‘Make it different!’ And at that time there wasn’t the range of instant effects available today.

Five attempts at a mono mix were then done. But the final mono and stereo mixes would be made on October 12.

Good night” had been recorded the day before, and on this day, six attempts at a mono mix were made. They were not deemed good enough as the final mono and stereo mixes would be made on October 11.

If we modestly consider the Paul McCartney Project to be the premier online resource for all things Paul McCartney, it is undeniable that The Beatles Bible stands as the definitive online site dedicated to the Beatles. While there is some overlap in content between the two sites, they differ significantly in their approach.
