About
- Limited to 333 copies.
- Sold via Third Man Store website.
From Third Man Store:
McCartney III —333 Edition is limited to 333 copies and is pressed on ‘yellow-with-black-dots’ vinyl created using 33 recycled vinyl copies of McCartney and McCartney II by Third Man Pressing. This special “regrind” pressing is the first version of McCartney’s third self-titled solo album available for purchase.
This special edition was on sale on October 21, 2020, sometime before the official announcement of “McCartney III“. Considering the very low number of copies, it sold within minutes, and prices skyrocketed on eBay days after. Third Man Records also manufactured a Red Edition limited to 3000 copies.
From the Instagram account of Third Man Records, October 21, 2020:
Announcing McCartney III, to be released December 11 on @capitolrecords across digital platforms, on CD, and on LP manufactured by @thirdmanpressing . Vinyl configurations will include the Third Man Edition of 3000 hand-numbered red vinyl copies sold on @paulmccartney online store, a ‘333’ Edition sold only via #ThirdManRecords online store and limited to 333 copies on yellow-with-black-dots vinyl composed from a “regrind” of 33 McCartney & McCartney II records, and more.
