This was the final studio session for the “Help!” album, dedicated to mixing the tracks recorded during the previous few days. The morning session, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm, was devoted to mono mixes, while the afternoon session, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm, was used to create the stereo mixes.
On this day, as well, Paul McCartney turned 23, and The Beatles were interviewed by the BBC World Service.
