This was the fourth night of “Another Beatles Christmas Show,” which ran from December 24, 1964, to January 16, 1965. Rather than a traditional concert, the production took the form of a holiday-season variety show, blending short comedy sketches (with the Beatles acting in humorous vignettes), with performances by other artists from Brian Epstein’s management roster. Each performance concluded with a short live set by The Beatles.
On this fourth evening, two consecutive performances were given — the first at 6:15 pm and the second at 8:45 pm, the latter being a special charity event.

Tuesday 29th December 1964 – ANOTHER BEATLES’ CHRISTMAS SHOW
HAMMERSMITH ODEON FROM THURSDAY 24th DECEMBER 1964 TO SATURDAY 16th JANUARY 1965
by Linda FreedmanWhat a rush to get from my work at Warren Street to Hammersmith Odeon in time for the 1st performance at 6:15, but I just managed it. I’d booked tickets for both performances that night. The second performance was a charity show in which the profits were donated to Brady Clubs.
But both shows were exactly the same, although the audience in the second show were much quieter and more reserved. There was definitely more atmosphere as the Beatles spot was getting nearer.
During the first show I sat right in the back row stalls & for the second in the middle of the front row! It was really worth the extra money, as you could see much better what was happening & of course, you also noticed sweaters & miniskirt styles. […]
[Translated from French:] It was a fabulous show — better than the one in November, because I think they were a bit tired at that time and not at their best. But at this show — both of them — they were really great! And judging by the screams, the jelly belly throwing, and George squeaking the microphone, there’s definitely no sign that the Beatles have lost any of their popularity. They will always have their devoted fans. The others just aren’t real ‘fans.’
From Drouot – […]

This was the 9th concert played at Hammersmith Odeon.
