From medium.com – Lead guitarist Laurence Juber, keyboardist-lead singer Paul McCartney, and rhythm guitarist Denny Laine endure cascading fake snowfall as they unleash “Wonderful Christmastime” at Wings’ December 14, 1979, concert at the City Halls venue in Newcastle, about 275 miles north of London. From Meet The Beatles For Real – I haven’t seen a whole lot of photos from Wings 1979 tour of the U.K. (the one that ended up being their last tour) and the photos I have seen have all been professional shots. So it was neat to see that a fan posted these fan-taken photos to the Paul McCartney website of Wings in concert on Dec 14, 1979 in Newcastle.
