In February 2025, ahead of his appearance at the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special, Paul McCartney performed a three-night series of intimate, impromptu concerts at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City.

In March, to celebrate its 50th anniversary, Wings’ 1975 album “Venus and Mars” was reissued as a half-speed mastered LP and newly mixed in Dolby Atmos.

On August 30, “Man On The Run” — a new documentary exploring Paul McCartney and Wings in the 1970s — premiered at the Telluride Film Festival. It was announced that the film would be released globally on Amazon Prime Video in February 2026.

Following a warm-up concert in Santa Barbara on September 26, Paul and his band resumed their “Got Back” tour with a new US leg, the first American dates since 2022.

In early November, Paul published a new book co-authored with historian Ted Widmer, titled “Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run.” To coincide with its release, a new Wings compilation album, simply titled “WINGS,” was issued.

Later in November, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of “The Beatles Anthology,” Apple Corps unveiled a landmark reissue campaign spanning music, film, and print. The three original double albums were remastered and expanded with a fourth disc of outtakes, plus fresh mixes of “Free As A Bird” and “Real Love,” enhanced with MAL technology used on the 2023 single “Now And Then.” The Anthology documentary series was also restored and remastered in collaboration with Peter Jackson’s team, including a new episode featuring previously unseen mid-1990s footage of Paul, George, and Ringo working together. Additionally, the Anthology book, first published in 2000, was reissued to mark its 25th anniversary.
