The album “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” was the first Beatles album where the track listings and mixes of the songs were the same for both UK and US versions. However, there was a minor difference between them: the US album (in mono and stereo) did not have the run-out groove sound that was present on the UK edition. This run-out groove sound was later released in the US album “Rarities” in 1980, under the name “Sgt. Pepper Inner Groove.” In subsequent releases, this sound was included in all worldwide CD, cassette, and vinyl versions of the “Sgt. Pepper” album.
