‘Almost Grown” is a 1959 rock and roll single written and recorded by Chuck Berry. It was released as a double A-side with “Little Queenie“.
According to Mark Lewisohn in “The Complete Beatles Chronicle“, The Beatles performed “Almost Grown” regularly between 1960 and 1962. However, no known recordings from that period exist.
On January 8 and on January 24, 1969, during the Beatles’ “Get Back” sessions, The Beatles played version of “Almost Grown.“
