New North America leg for the “Got Back” tour announced

This was the second of two consecutive nights in Chicago and the twentieth and last show of the 2025 US leg of the “Got Back” tour. Paul McCartney last performed in Chicago in July 2014 during his Out There Tour.

Just one wardrobe change… (when he takes off his jacket) He never leaves the stage…except at the end… I don’t even think he had a drink of water (The photo of Paul McCartney on stage has a background of Mersey Beat bands including Billy J. Kramer and the Dakotas)

From Jonas Santos on Instagram – I have been waiting for this day for so long. My SECOND, yes, SECOND official poster for Sir Paul McCartney, created for the two shows happening tonight at the United Center in Chicago..
This was easily one of the most fun projects I have ever worked on. I went deep into references and filled it with playful easter eggs. You will find nods to album covers and specific songs, including the line about the wind in “Jet.” And since Chicago is known as the Windy City, it just felt like a natural connection to bring those ideas together. There are also references to films made in the city, like the iconic Bluesmobile from Blues Brothers, plus the John Hancock Center and many other subtle details scattered throughout.
If you are lucky enough to be at the show today, please send me photos. I would love to see it out in the wild. I will have a very limited number of APs available next days, so stay tuned. And if you are in town for the show, enjoy every minute of it.
