About

From paulmccartney.com, April 20, 2016:

‘ONE ON ONE’
Historic Return To Fenway Park Confirmed

July 17 – Boston, MA — Fenway Park

He set the two-day concert box office record at Fenway Park with his August 5 & 6, 2009 doubleheader.

On July 9, 2013 he set the record for the largest single concert attendance in Fenway history.

And now Paul McCartney has confirmed his return to Fenway Park: On July 17, his brand new ‘One On One’ tour will make its Boston debut as Paul plays a historic fourth show at the storied ballpark.

Thankfully, Bob Weir was still in town and, for the first time ever, the Grateful Dead guitarist and McCartney shared the stage together during the encore portion of the latter’s show. The duo first performed Wings’ “Hi Hi Hi” before tackling the White Album classic “Helter Skelter.

As an added bonus, New England Patriots tight end and human confetti cannon Rob Gronkowski was also in attendance for the concert. During “Helter Skelter,” “Gronk” came out onstage to dance, play air guitar and at one point yell the chorus into the microphone. […]
