What happened for Paul in 2012
Paul McCartney started 2012 by releasing “Kisses On The Bottom“, a collection of classic American standards (plus two original tracks), gaining a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and being named MusiCares Person Of The Year.
It was then an active year in terms of touring. McCartney completed his “On The Run” tour, by some European dates in March, a South-American leg in April / May and a North-American leg in November. But he also played some quite out-of-the-norm concerts (even for him), like the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Concert, and the Olympics Opening Ceremony.
McCartney also spent time in the studios, recording what would become the “NEW” album, released in 2013.
